Andrea Mitchell Loses It: Argues Trump’s Jerusalem Move Is Secret Plot To Help Roy Moore Win

President Trump finally declares the “reality” that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital, and the MSM wants you know it’s all Alabama voters’ fault.

The frantic pushback by mainstream media journalists to President Trump’s historic decision on Jerusalem makes you wonder… do they secretly believe he made the right move?

An unbelievable discussion between MSNBC’s Chris Matthews and Andrea Mitchell revealed all kinds of insights.

“The intricacies of middle negotiations, and the president is saying to the people of Israel, here it is, we’re giving you the end result,” Matthews said on “Hardball” Wednesday.

Mitchell was quick to take Matthews’ lead and bash the President, saying Trump gave Israel the end-game prize “for nothing.”

“Exactly. And what does he get for it? It’s not as though Israel has made concessions on settlements, stopped expanding into Palestinian areas. This is the prize at the end of the rainbow, the pot of gold for people delivering on their willingness to compromise and come up with a peace deal. And yet he’s giving it to Israel for nothing,” Mitchell lamented.

Mitchell then spun the discussion to what was apparently really pressing on her mind.

“And one has to assume it has a lot to do with domestic politics. Namely Alabama. This is an enormously powerful incentive,” Mitchell said.

“It is what the evangelicals, especially down in Alabama and other parts of the country, the religious right wanted to hear.”

Mitchell basically argued that President Trump delivered on a campaign promise with world-wide implications involving one America’s greatest allies to bump-up support in a special election his favored candidate was already likely to win.

To put it another way… she thinks MSNBC viewers are extremely gullible. Perhaps it’s MSNBC attempting to interject the Jerusalem move into domestic politics? Perish the thought.

As if Mitchell’s attempt to link Jerusalem with Alabama voters wasn’t proof enough of the media’s unhinged reaction, later in the discussion Chris Matthews agreed with Trump that border walls are a good idea.

“We’re much more vulnerable than Israel, we don’t have a wall,” Matthews said. He also mentioned U.S. troops, diplomats and tourists all the world who are now if grave danger thanks to Trump.

The Alabama special election race has been at the forefront of Mitchell’s mind since Roy Moore looks like he could still win a U.S. Senate seat despite 40-year-old sexual misconduct allegations against him suddenly surfacing.

Mitchell’s cohort parroted the far-fetched Alabama/Jerusalem connection on Morning Joe Wednesday morning.

“Don’t thinks this isn’t related to Alabama,” Matthews said. “It’s the Christian Evangelicals down there, with their crazy ideas about Israel… I don’t know, it’s mythical.”

A narrative in the making.

For a refreshing change, Fox News’ Brit Hume threw some cold water on the media hysteria by pointing out that Jerusalem has been considered Israel’s capital by law for 22 years. Conservative Trump critic Ben Shapiro heaped praise on the President calling his move an act of “political bravery and moral courage.”
